7 Things to know about After Dark…

 1.The Trail

The trail takes around 45 minutes and starts as soon as you enter from the Dukes Avenue Gate.  The trail guides you through the beautiful gardens through a series of modern lighting installations. Refreshments available at the beginning, middle and end.

2.The House & Kasabian

Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian has created an original piece of music for the lighting show on the house.  It’s a 4.5 minute classical piece inspired by this year’s beautiful Autumnal season. Serge visited Chiswick to personally sign off the house show before the opening.

3.Wishing Tree & Mind Charity

The wishing tree was designed by artist Finn Thomson and is called ‘Make it Private.  It’s in partnership with Mind Charity who campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health.  So far, £1,000 has been raised.

4.The Moon

There is a 6-meter moon hanging amongst the trees, a truly magical experience and a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with a full moon!

5.Dogs

After Dark makes a great evening dog walk, all dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept on a lead.

6.Baubles

Every Saturday & Sunday up until Christmas, Hackney Arts are adding a small touch of Christmas, decorate 3 baubles for £5, available in the Winter Pop Up Tent.

7. And last but not least… A Winter pop-up bar and delicious street food

The trail ends in the Winter Pop Up, a huge variety of drinks available from a special G&T, mulled wine, mulled cider and beers on tap provided by Fullers. The street food line-up has been curated by yours truly with Taco Dave, Duck Shed, Thelo and Love Churros.

You can access this area without doing the trail via the entrance off the Great West Road.
