Join us at The Wonderland Collective pop-up shop on Acton High Street on Thurs 30th March for the last of our Ealing Bites shopping evenings. Leigh Montague, fashion designer and Founder of British made brand Monty & Co., will discuss her passion for "British manufacturing and why provenance matters".
In a time of endless choice and mass consumption. We are becoming increasingly aware of the implications and impacts of low-cost goods and fast fashion on human rights and our environment. Consumer purchasing habits are changing, sustainability, transparency and provenance matter. Customers are expecting brands and businesses to inform them of how, who and where their products and purchases are made!
There will also be the opportunity to 'Meet the Maker' Mala & Bunga, one of the business owners behind The Wonderland Collective.
Strictly guest list only. To RSVP please visit the Wonderland Collective page.
Monty & Co
MONTY & CO. was founded by Leigh Montague the brand was born from a desire to find simple yet stylish, functional and unisex clothing for her young son. A Menswear Designer with over a decade of experience. The relentless cycle of consumption in the fashion industry coupled with a lack of transparency and decline in quality and respect for clothing in recent years led her to leave the commercial world. With a passion for British heritage and manufacturing she set out to provide a solution to this gap she identified in the market. Monty & Co. was created to provide a return to British made Childrenswear offering quality utility classics. Creating real value for parents and families offering a stylish understated yet distinctively British brand with timeless appeal.
